Yates Services Accepting Resumes for Nissan

Yates Services is hosting a job fair for Nissan's Vehicle Assembly and Electric Vehicle Battery Plant manufacturing facilities in Smyrna. The event will be on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - noon at the Tennessee Career Center at Murfreesboro. That's located at 1313 Old Fort Parkway. The company is recruiting to fill long-term, full-time off shift contractor positions. Yates Services is hiring for nights, afternoons, weekends, and rotating shifts for assembly and production along with material handling and parts sorter positions. Starting pay ranges from 12-dollars to just over 15-dollars per hour. Benefits include paid holidays and vacation.

To qualify for positions, applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and must speak, read, and write fluent English. Qualified applicants must have a verifiable stable work history and/or verifiable high school attendance record.

Educational assistance is available after two years of continuous service as a main line production/maintenance associate. A full benefits package is offered that includes Blue Cross Blue Shield health plans, dental, vision, life insurance, and AD&D first of the month after 60 days. In addition, 401(k) plan participation is available after the first full year of service. Upon hire all Yates employees become eligible for the Nissan Vehicle Purchase Program (VPP) and can take advantage of the discounted vehicle prices.
