Counterfeit money continues to be a problem for area businesses. Zaxby’s on Rutherford Boulevard was the most recent victim. A worker at the restaurant told police a female passed off the money as being real when she placed an order at the drive-thru. The $20 bill was evidently accepted and after the customer paid for her meal, she drove away. So far, she has not been caught.
