Murfreesboro Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects who robbed a couple with a young son at the South Rutherford Wal-Mart. The incident happened on Saturday. As the victims were trying to leave, they were robbed before they were able to leave their parking space.

The suspects approached the family in their vehicle, threatened them with a weapon, and demanded money from them. After the family surrendered their money, the suspect fired a shot at the vehicle.

Murfreesboro Police spokesman Kyle Evans says it's believed the suspects did not enter the store prior to the robbery. One suspect is described as a white male, wearing a white shirt and black athletic pants with a white stripe. He is bald and was wearing a black beanie. The driver appears to be a white female wearing a pink shirt.

Evans has supplied us some surveillance photos, which we've posted on our website. Anyone with information should call the Criminal Investigations Division at 615-893-2717 or Crime Stoppers at 615-893-STOP(7867).
