Motor Home Inferno Shuts Down Eastbound I-24

A blazing motor home on eastbound I-24, between Beechgrove and Manchester, finally shutdown traffic on I-24. It's not clear what happened, but the incident occurred around 5:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon, October 18, 2014.

Prior to the Coffee County Sheriff's Office arriving on the scene, a slow stream of cars, big rigs, motorcyclists and more passed within 10-feet of the inferno. If someone slowed to a stop, the drivers behind them started honking. All of the time, you could hear explosions from within the motorhome--each causing the flames to get higher and wider across the adjacent lanes of traffic.
