Buying books is a thing of the past for many Americans as Ipads and electronic devices like the Kindle Reader become more popular. No one knows this better then Borders Books, the number two largest book store chain in the United States. A day after the book store announced it will be closing all of their retail outlets, workers at the Boarders distribution plant in LaVergne are uncertain about their future. The book distributor has been a part of LaVergne for about 20-years. Now, the future jobs of employees at the distribution hub is up in the air. The company already threatened to close the facility in January and then decided in March to keep it open. Two days ago, the company made the announcement that they would close 399 retail outlets.
