Black Vultures Continue to Attack Local Livestock

Congressman Scott DesJarlais who represents Rutherford County told WGNS News that vultures continue to be a problem for farm owners in our community. Black vultures are known to attack the calves as they are being born, which is a costly issues for farmers.

DesJarlais stated that the birds are protected under a Federal Act, but a permit can be obtained to kill the birds in question...
