A convicted sex offender was arrested in Murfreesboro after allegedly disabling an ankle monitoring device and then running away from probation officers. Paul Berg reportedly threatened to kill himself after running away from officers and hiding in a wooded area. Berg is the man who was arrested earlier this year for trying to develop pictures of a young boy from a camera he had purchased at a yard sale. Berg was added to the sex offender registry for a crime he committed in 1996. Then, he attempted sodomy and was accused of using a minor for sexual purposes. Berg lives on Leanna Central Valley Road in Murfreesboro.
