Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue Station number 10 will open next week on Veterans Parkway. The grand opening will take place on Monday morning at 9 (8/1/16).
You may recall the building was constructed several years ago and has sat empty for quite some time. The city has held off on utilizing the structure until that area grew to a point that called for the need. That need is now.
The city also plans to move Station 4, currently near Mitchell Nielsen Elementary, to Medical Center Parkway in the near future.
