This day brings the official beginning of fall, and it's ushered in with live blues at the Patterson Community Center. In fact, the 'Boro Blues Fest opens the season at 5:00 o'clock tonight (9/23/11) with the sixth annual festival. The two-day event is absolutely free!
Some of the outstanding performers include Marion James, Forest Gras Bank, Markey with special juest James "Nick" Nixon, C. J. Vaughn, Real Deal, Stones River Pilots, Fire House Bank, the Satin Mockingbird and more.
The blues continues again on Saturday at 2:00 o'clock and rolls until around 10:00 at night. Bring your lawn chair, warm blanket and get reading to soak-in some soul.
