Annual Heritage Celebration Joins "Saturday Marketplace" This Weekend!

Local history will come alive around the historic Rutherford County Courthhouse with live music and re-enactors this coming Saturday. It begins at 9:00 that morning and continues until 1:00 in the afternoon. The "Annual Heritage Celebration" will join the "Marketplace" this coming weekend with "Music at the Market".  

Jimalong Josies Band will perform Civil War era tunes and includes the Civil War traveling exhibit "This Cruel War" at the historic downtown courthouse.

This addition to the extended Saturday Farmers Market will also include re-enactors, storytelling, members of the Coleman Scout Band and docents dressed in period clothing providing tours and stories of the courthouse. There is not fee to attend this event.
