Murfreesboro Youth Football Preseason Practice Underway

Murfreesboro Parks & Rec. Youth Football League preseason practice is underway. The season officially starts for the league Aug. 27, 2016 in four different age divisions with the games played on the McKnight multi purpose fields.

The City of Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department has offered youth football to the citizens of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County for over 50 years. The Murfreesboro Football League is the longest running, most successful Youth Football Program in Murfreesboro.

Over the years many players from the Murfreesboro Football League have gone on to play middle school, high school, and college football. The Murfreesboro Football League focuses on developing young players, training coaches, and providing well qualified professional staff. Each season, the league administration emphasizes the importance of good sportsmanship while participating in healthy competition.
