Multiple drug charges were filed against a Murfreesboro man. Michael T. Jones was the passenger in a car that was pulled over by a Murfreesboro Police Officer. When the officer asked the driver of the car permission to search the vehicle, he was given the okay. Upon inspection of where Jones was sitting, police say they found Hydrocodone, Xanax, Diazepam and marijuana. Police also recovered crack cocaine and powder cocaine. Jones now faces five separate drug charges, two charges of violation of probation and a charge for failing to appear in court. He was booked into the local jail and placed under a $122-thousand dollar bond.
