There are big plans in store for Motlow State Community College in Smyrna. The school is planning a 35,000 square foot addition. That news according to Motlow President MaryLou Apple. Apple was in Smyrna on Tuesday to unveil an architect’s rendering of the plans. The new addition will cost $7.6-million dollars and will make the school two times bigger then what it is today. The money to build the school is coming from the Tennessee Board of Regents and through grants and fundraisers.
