Democrats in Tennessee are attempting to repeal the voter photo ID law that requires voters to show a valid ID before voting. The law was put forth by republican lawmakers. Democrats want to do away with the law because they say it impedes some persons from voting who don’t have a photo ID. Despite the push to repeal the law, photo ID’s are being offered by the state free of charge to ensure that all voters have a legal form of ID.
