In La Vergne, Brittney Barry has been hired as La Vergne's Fire Department's first full-time female Firefighter.
Barry is a Wilson Central High School graduate and worked at the Walter Hill Volunteer Fire Department here in Rutherford County. "She's dedicated and a hard worker," said Assistant Fire Chief Chris Clark.
"We look forward to working with her in the future," said Clark. Barry is no stranger to has been a part of the LFD team. She has been working the past 3 years as a part-time Firefighter with the city. Congratulations Brittney!
