Murfreesboro Police are investigating an armed robbery to a customer who was sitting in her parked car at Walmart on Memorial Boulevard.

The 36 year old Second Avenue resident told Officer Bogle that she was sitting in her 2017 Nissan Sentra when a man knocked on her window and asked for a "smoke".

She told police that after saying "no" he pulled a gun and told her to get out of the car and leave the cellphone on the seat.

The victim commented that there was another man standing behind the gunman, so she exited the car and hid behind a nearby vehicle.

It was at that point the two suspects drove away in the woman's new dark gray Nissan Sentra. In addition to the car, an LG phone, debit and credit card wer also taken. Officer Victor Bogle noted that this puts the crime in the category of Aggravated Robbery over $10,000.
