The Tennessee Methamphetamine Task Force made a visit to Murfreesboro on Saturday. Murfreesboro Police say they dismantled an active meth lab that was found in a home at 410 Douglas Street. Police found out about the meth lab because of an anonymous tip. Officers arrested 19-year old Richard Sloan. Sloan was not only charged with manufacturing meth, but also with a felony drug possession. Police say they had reason to believe that Sloan was making the meth to sell. Scales and individual baggies were found in the same room where the meth was being made. Sloan will appear in court on January 12th. He is being held under an $18-thousand dollar bond.
