Murfreesboro Police Officer Gretta Ireland was the hero of the day for one local motorist. A listener writes that Officer Ireland helped a stranded motorist who ran out of gas in the middle of a busy roadway. Officer Ireland blocked traffic in the center lane with her patrol car, calmed the driver and even put the needed fuel in the SUV.
