Rutherford County Trustee Teb Batey said local residents will be able to pay their taxes this Friday . . .
He noted that the county will continue its practice of allowing persons to break their payments up into amounts that fit their budget. For example, if your county taxes total $600, you could make three $200 payments. Batey noted that penalties on the unpaid balance would still be due however.
