Murfreesboro, TN--Chief Mark Foulks announces several promotions within the Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department. The twelve personnel have been assigned to fill vacancies in varying ranks.
Captain Blake Insell promoted to Battalion Chief.
Engineers Kyle Winnett, Jeremy McCullough, Jonathan Parsons, Josh Parsons, and Matthew Young were promoted to the rank of Captain.
Engineer Keith Elrod was promoted to Fire Life Safety Specialist.
Firefighters Ben Honeycutt, Ben Thorpe, Zach Fleenor, Jonathan Gaither, and Josh Warren have all been promoted to Engineer.
"We are so proud of these employees who were selected from a qualified list of experienced applicants within the department," said Fire Rescue Chief "and they will serve our community well in these new roles."
A promotional pinning ceremony is planned for November 4th during the department's Awards and Recognition Ceremony.
