A gentle breeze and temps in the mid 80s helped to attract a huge turnout for Friday Night Live around the historic Rutherford County Courthouse. The Gravel Road Gypsies played favorites made popular by Fleetwood Mac, ZZ Tops, Rod Stewart and others.

The band was a guest on Friday's morning's WGNS Action Line and features (L-R above photo) Bob Priddy on bass and vocals, Rob Joyner on guitar and vocals, David Sevier on drums, Jenna Willis vocalist, and Bernie Steen as lead vocalist and on guitar. (Photos below shows how the size of the crowd exploded as night fell)

The monthly Summer season event is sponsored by the Main Street program and Only Downtown Business Alliance. Eateries and retail businesses in the historic district remained open so that attendees could enjoy dinner and do some shopping.

Next Month Is Season Finale

The final Friday Night Live for the season will be next month. The O'Donnell's take to the stage at 6:30 on Friday night, September 7th, and yes--it's all free!
