It started with a traffic stop and ended with police searching the apartment of a 21-year old suspect. Murfreesboro Police say they pulled over Roland Walker II on Middle Tennessee Boulevard for suspicion of drug activity. When officers approached the Volkswagen being operated by Walker, they say they could smell marijuana.

Walker gave police consent to search his car and authorities found a bag of marijuana weighting 28.6-grams. Police then asked Walker for permission to search his residence. The suspect agreed to take police to his apartment and allow them to search the unit. Officers reported that they found four more bags of marijuana inside the apartment.

As a result of the drugs recovered by police, Walker was charged with felony possession of marijuana and booked under a $10,500 bond. He will appear in court this February.
