Murfreesboro Police responded to a shooting in the 700 block of South East Broad Street at 4:41 p.m. Friday afternoon (July 17, 2020).
Reports indicate that one person was shot and taken to the hospital. The shooter is in custody, but names and exact charges have not been released.
The shooting is under investigation by Criminal Investigation Division detectives.
