In the past 5 days (July 21, 2020 to July 26, 2020) 673 new COVID-19 cases have been tallied by health department officials.
As of July 26, 2020, a total of 5,389 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Rutherford County, but 2,530 residents have recovered and now test negative.
If the numbers continue to increase at the current rate, over 2,000 new cases will be tallied by the first day of school on August 10, 2020.
