The return of prep sports on WGNS for the 73rd season will be like no other. But we are excited about the start, nonetheless.
Primetime Sports, presented by iDEASTEES will debut this Thursday at 6PM with Jon Dinkins, Bryan Barrett, Rod Edwards and Clark Blair. Through the football season, we will talk about prep and college football and other sports news of the day.
The Prentice Alsup Heating and Air Coaches Corner will debut this Saturday. We will get a preview from all of the area high school football coaches the week before the start of the season. The show will air each Saturday morning from 8-10:30AM, followed by MTCS Cougar Corner.
TIMES FOR COACHES INTERVIEWS
The high school football season will begin with a two-game opening week. Thursday, August 20th, Rockvale will host La Vergne. Friday, August 21st, Oakland will host Hendersonville.
New this year will be the TriStar Friday Night Live scoreboard show following the games.
