It looks like the town of La Vergne is one of the hardest working cities in Tennessee, that according to research released by ZIPPIA.

The company evidently set out to find the cities where more people are working and where jobs are the most demanding. La Vergne came out on top, with the most workers burning the candle at both ends.

To determine the hardest working cities in each state, ZIPPA ranked just shy of 4,000 cities on the average hours worked, average commute time, workers per household and the labor force participation rate.

La Vergne was ranked as the hardest working city in the Volunteer State with an average of 42 hours worked by residents weekly. The average commute to work equals 16 miles and there is typically one full time worker per household.
