Cannonsburgh Village to be transformed into “Frightensburgh”

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Cannonsburgh Village will be transformed into an outdoor haunted trail by Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation the week before Halloween.

“We don’t recommend this event for young children,” said Thomas Laird, Assistant Director for Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation. “Frightensburgh is taking the place of “Old Scream Road,” the haunted hayride at Barfield Crescent Park this year.”

“You will walk through the village with the group of family or friends that you came with,” said Laird. “We recommend wearing a mask as there will be a lot of screaming going on.”

To avoid crowded lines, groups will be given a number when their tickets are purchased, and the numbers will be announced to enter the attraction. Activities such as food trucks, cornhole, and photo booths will be available during the wait time.

Dates: Wednesday, October 21 – Saturday, October 24
Time: Parking gates open at 6 p.m. each night. Event begins at 7 p.m.

Ticket Sales:

Wednesday - Thursday, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Friday-Saturday, 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Admission: $10 per person at the gate

Location: 312 S. Front Street
Visitors will be admitted in groups of 6 or fewer.
