The last two games of the regular season for Rockvale football won't be played due to COVID-19. Their last two games against Cookeville Friday and Siegel October 30th won't be played due to the team being quarantined.

Rutherford County Schools spokesman James Evans said, "Rockvale is forfeiting the remainder of their season (two games) because of a quarantine situation affecting the coaching staff and team."

This marks the third time a local team has had to cancel games due to the coronavirus pandemic. MTCS canceled it's contest with Donalson Christian in September and Blackman lost its game with Oakland due to quarantine just before fall break.

With only two weeks left in the regular season, the season for the Rockets comes to an end with a 1-7 mark.
