(MURFREESBORO) Demolition continues as crews continue to tear down the old five-story Pinnacle Financial Partners building on the corner of College and Maple Streets. After the old building is wiped away, construction crews will begin building a brand new bank.
The old structure has been taken apart piece by piece as opposed to using explosives as some demo-crews do. Early on, it was deemed too dangerous to implode the building because it was too tightly squeezed in next to the Center for the Arts, a restaurant and a church.
Executives from Pinnacle hope to have their new building constructed within about 12-months.
