COVID-19 numbers are going down in Tennessee, compared to numbers in November and December of 2020. Currently, there are 2,061 active COVID cases in Rutherford County. Sadly, 298 deaths have been recorded in Rutherford County since the start of the pandemic.
While much of the talk in the medical community has been focused on the COVID Vaccine, there is still a huge need for COVID testing.
Low T Center in Murfreesboro now has Drive Thru Rapid Covid testing on MONDAYS. WGNS confirmed that the tests will take place on Monday's only between now and February 22nd. Tests will be conducted from 8:30 in the morning through 5:30 Monday evening.
No appointment is necessary to receive the test, which is open to all adults - both men and women. The cost of the test is $60 and you will receive your results in less than 30 minutes.
The Low T Center located in Franklin is also conducting COVID testing. While the center in Murfreesboro only tests on Monday's, the location in Franklin conducts Drive Thru Rapid COVID testing on Wednesday's.
31,912 Residents of Rutherford County have recovered from COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic. 105 new COVID cases were confirmed in Rutherford County on Monday (1/25/2021).
In nearby Williamson County, there have been 22,259 COVID cases since the start of the illness. Out of that number, 20,627 have recovered. In Williamson County, there have been 150 deaths caused by COVID-19. Currently, there are 1,482 active cases in Williamson County. 84 new cases were confirmed on Monday (1/25/2021).
