The Rutherford County Schools are teaming up with Trustpoint Hospital in Murfreesboro for an important seminar geared towards parents.
The event will provide youth suicide prevention training for parents, an important topic that school administrators and teachers are often asked about.
Adolescent psychiatrist Dr. Anaad Patel and TrustPoint Hospital's adolescent unit nurse manager Amy Allen, RN will discuss warning signs, steps you can take and resources available to help prevent suicide in youth.
The informational event for parents will be on April 29th from 6-7 p.m. at the Rutherford County Schools Central Office, 2240 Southpark Drive in Murfreesboro.
The event is free and no reservations are required.
