The Murfreesboro Police Department is on the prowl for a woman who detectives say is a suspect in a shoplifting incident.

Apparently, the unknown female went to Lowe’s on Old Fort Parkway April 14th and allegedly loaded a portable air compressor and air mover into a shopping cart. Next, she headed towards store return line, where most people exchange items they purchased or receive a refund. In this case, neither of the two happened. Police say after standing in line for a short period of time, she made her way out of the store and into the parking lot.

Once in the parking lot and armed with the goods she is accused of taking, she allegedly loaded them into a black pickup truck and fled the scene.

If you can help police identify the suspect (pictured), contact MPD Detective Ed Gorham at 629-201-5507 or email your tips to crimetips@murfreesborotn.gov.
