An arrest has been made in an I-24 fatal accident investigation.

44-Year-old Stephen L. Hall is jailed in lieu of a $100,000 bond on a grand jury indictment charging him with vehicular homicide by intoxication, driving on a suspended license, and no proof of insurance for the single-vehicle crash on January 23rd on I-24 East near Haywood Lane. The crash killed 30-year-old Meganne Ball of Nolensville, Tennessee. Evidently, she was a passenger in the vehicle that Hall was driving.

Police say that Hall was driving a 2012 Nissan Murano east on I-24 when he lost control SUV and crashed into a rock wall. Both Hall and his passenger, were not wearing seatbelts and were both ejected from the vehicle. Ball died at the scene.

Metro Nashville Police report that Hall admitted to using methamphetamine and other illegal narcotics prior to the crash.

Again, he has been arrested for the wreck that left the passenger in the SUV that he was allegedly driving dead on January 23, 2021.
