Fire Chief Recommends Having an Exit Plan From Hotel Room When on Vacation

Summer is the time for family vacations and one of the top destinations searched for online...  the Outer Banks of North Carolina, according to a 2020 article in Forbes magazine. Number two on the list was Yellowstone National Park.

For Middle Tennessee residents, both Destin, Florida and Gulf Shores, Alabama seem to be hot spots for summer get-a-ways. The two vacation destinations are less than a 7-and-a-half-hour drive from Rutherford County.

When on vacation, regardless of fame or fortune, do you familiarize yourself with an exit plan in case of emergency?
