An ultralight plane crashed in Bedford County near Unionville on Tuesday evening. The aircraft had two people on board when it went down in a field, coming to rest next to a treeline on Hopkins Bridge Road in Unionville.
One was airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville and the other was driven by ambulance.
