A small Cirrus SR-22 airplane crashed on Wednesday (08/11/2021) morning at a nursery in McMinnville, Tennessee. The crash occured around 9:30 in the morning, according to officials in Warren County. The single engine aircraft went down near Spencer Road.
Reports indicate two people were on board the airplane, but thankfully there were no reports of any injuries, according to investigators.
FAA information shows the plane was registered to "Blue Yonder LLC" out of Paris, Tennessee. The aircraft allegedly experienced some type of engine trouble having to do with oil temperature and deployed its ballistic parachute landing system.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating to determine the cause of the crash on Wednesday.
