(Lascassas, TN)  Fall is officially here by date and feel. It should be sunny with temps in the 70s when MUSIC IN THE FIELD begins tonight at Sitaspel Down Farm, 7421 Cainsville Pike. All of the proceeds from tonight's (9/25/2021) event go toward the Murfreesboro Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra along with scholarships for the ETHOS Youth Orchestra members.

The concert is at Eddy and Ruth Taylor's farm and features the music of The Wanna Beatles, Bryan Cumming's Swing Quartet, Liz Johnson, Johnny Hibbert, and member of the Tennessee Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO).

TPO Guild President Ruth Taylor said, "If you don't have tickets, come on and join us. Be sure to bring a lawn chair a picnic or munchies."

Tickets are $30 per person or $35 for the entire family.

Taylor encouraged, "Please arrive before the music begins at 4:00 o'clock. That way, you can find the place for your family to enjoy and not be walking around while the performers are entertaining."

TPO CEO Jane McNulty told WGNS News that the first concert of the season will be a TRIBUTE TO VETERANS at 7:30PM Friday, November 12, 2021. All of the concerts will be held at Belle Aire Baptist Church, 1307 N. Rutherford Boulevard.

McNulty said, "The annual Veterans Concert honors our brave men and women in the military. Tickets go on sale October 1, 2021."

She noted, "All of our concerts this season will be sold à la carte. In other words, there will not be any season ticket sales. We plan on have a full concert season, but with COVID--there is no certainty. By selling each concert individually, we don't have the challenge and confusion of refunds or make-goods."
