(MURFREESBORO)  Are you ready for a fun packed homecoming week?  The Blue Raiders started with a Friday night victory the week (10/22/2021) before in Hartford, CT. That victory feeling will flow through the homecoming week. 

Big Win Over UConn

Middle Tennessee dominated in the trenches on the road in New England, riding a balanced offensive performance and 11 tackles for loss to a 44-13 victory over UConn at Rentschler Field at Pratt & Whitney Stadium Friday night.

MTShUbox Showcase
Premiering at 1:00 pm CT on True Blue TV 
After its acclaimed debut last year as our virtual homecoming parade pivot, the MTShUbox Showcase returns this year, rebranded and serving as the virtual kickoff to homecoming week. Voice of the Blue Raiders Chip Walters ('85) and LaShan Dixon ('07, '10, '11, '14) will co-host entries fashioned from shoeboxes by Blue Raiders. The Showcase will premiere on the main MTSU Facebook page and website. Click here for more information. The deadline to submit entries is October 13. Mixer on Middle Parade Watching Party
9:30 am, Alumni House grounds, 2259 Middle Tennessee Boulevard       
Join the Alumni Association watching the 2021 Homecoming Parade as it returns to beautiful Middle Tennessee Boulevard from the best venue on campus. The party will be filled with MTSU alumni and friends as we get together for an event that is uniquely MT. Voice of the Blue Raiders, Chip Walters (’85) and multimedia journalist Michael Linn White ('17) will co-host the parade entries. There will be music, souvenir photos of your gang, inflatables, and Halloween fun. Phillips Bookstore will be selling MT gear. Middle Tennessee Electric will be serving up gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches from the Electric Griddle. Kona Ice and Just Love Coffee will be onsite for purchase. (Both Kona Ice and Just Love Coffee accept cash and credit cards.) Bring your folding chairs and get ready to enjoy the sights and sounds of this time-honored homecoming tradition.
No reservations needed. Parking available in the back Ingram lot.

Homecoming Parade
10:00 am
Join the Student Government Association and the Alumni Association in celebrating 109 years of Middle Tennessee excellence at the annual Homecoming Parade. The parade will begin on East Main Street at Maney Avenue. It will continue on East Main Street, turning left on Middle Tennessee Boulevard and ending before Greenland Drive. Best viewing will be BEFORE Faulkinberry. Community members, groups, and businesses are welcome to be in the parade. You can register your entry here. 

Homecoming Tailgate Lunch presented by First Horizon and hosted by the MTSU Alumni Association and Blue Raider Athletic Association
Lunch served from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm, Location: Tower Lawn (grassy lawn between Alumni Memorial Gym and Floyd Stadium) on Faulkinberry Drive
The Alumni Association and the Blue Raider Athletic Association invite you to join family, friends, and fans for lunch beside the stadium before kickoff. The meal will be Slick Pig BBQ. Menu: Hickory Smoked Wings, Pork Sandwiches, Baked Beans, Mac and Cheese, Cole Slaw, Cornbread, Banana Pudding, Cookies, Tea and Water. 
$15 per adult, $10 per child (11 and under)

CBAS alumni are invited to attend their tailgate before the game. Traditional tailgate food will be served and CBAS masks and hand sanitizer will be given out to the first 100 guests. More details to come...
