One person is safe after escaping from a house fire on Tuesday night in Murfreesboro. According to reports, crews responded to a fire around 6:30 p.m. at a home on Sunset Avenue. Firefighters were able to contain the fire and confirmed one person inside the home was able to get out without injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
