On Tuesday, Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro welcomed the SECOND baby born on February 22nd of 2022.

Elizabeth Hope Allen, who is affectionately called "Ellie" by her parents' Peter and Sarah Allen, was welcomed into the world weighting 8-pounds and 8-ounces. If baby Ellie could stand, she would be standing one inch taller than the average newborn. In case you're curious, the average newborn is 20-inches long. Ellie however, was introduced to Murfreesboro at 21-inches in length.

While born in the 'Boro, the Allen family lives in nearby Shelbyville, TN.

Many have referred to today as “TwosDay.” After all, it is Tuesday, February 22, 2022, which is a palindrome, meaning it reads the same backward as it does forward. That said, hospitals around the country have celebrated the first and second babies born on this date with a time of 2:22 AM and 2:22 PM. The birth certificates will read, 2:22 on 2/22/22 – all two's.
