MTSU Board of Trustees to hold Committee Meetings on March 15th

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee State University Board of Trustees will hold committee meetings on Tuesday, March 15, in the Miller Education Center, Second Floor Meeting Room, 503 Bell St.

All committee meetings are open to the public and livestreamed. 

Academic Affairs, Student Life, and Athletics Committee: 9 a.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes; approval of new academic degree programs; approval of honorary degrees; annual report of academic program actions; fraternity and sorority life update; athletics Build Blue project update; and a Faculty Senate presentation. 

Audit and Compliance Committee: 10 a.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes; report of conflict of interest disclosures; review of President’s statement of disclosure of interests; report on compliance with public records policy; results of external review; and quarterly report on results of internal audit reports.

Executive and Governance Committee: 11 a.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes; institutional mission and mission profile; and President’s contract.

Finance and Personnel Committee: 1 p.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes; permanent appointment of Assistant to the President for Community Engagement and Inclusion; approval of policy revision; Governor’s budget and legislative budget hearings update; Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) update; capital disclosures; and a Faculty Senate presentation.

Committee meeting times are approximate; if one meeting finishes early, the following committee meeting may begin earlier than noted.
