St. Patrick's Day Sobriety Checkpoint announced for LaVergne, TN

LA VERGNE, TENN. - Sobriety checkpoints will be set up in LaVergne next week.

The La Vergne Police Department is encouraging everyone to drive safe and drive sober on St. Patrick’s Day. Members of the La Vergne Police Department will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 10:00 p.m. until midnight in the 5000 block of Murfreesboro Road.

Prior to setting up the checkpoint, officers will be working a moving Alcohol Saturation Patrol (ASP) from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The moving patrol will involve patrol cars driving throughout the city in search of spotting drunk drivers or those driving under the influence of drugs.

Again, the actual checkpoint will be on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th in LaVergne.
