CANNON COUNTY, TN – In the Woodbury area, the Cannon County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a vehicle that is believed to be tied to a “Theft from a motor vehicle” case.

The Sheriff’s Office reports a silver Nissan Altima with tinted windows was seen leaving the Dollar General Store in Cannon County around the same time that the theft was believed to have occurred. Deputies say the car has damage on the passenger side door. The small sedan was driving towards the Coffee County line.

If you spot the car in question (see photo above this news story), WGNS listeners are asked to call Cannon County dispatch at (615) 563-9751.

COFFEE COUNTY, TN - In Coffee County, the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival will be able to continue using the Coffee County Central Campus for this year’s music festival.

The approval came from a request heard before the Coffee County Board of Education. The board asked that Bonnaroo pay $5,000 to use of the parking lot for registration purposes. The contract covers June 11th through June 20th, 2022.

Festival organizers will have to sign-off on the $5,000 request before the June date arrives.

The festival has used the school facilities in years past.
