Trial for Suspect in Smyrna, TN Murder is set for June

(Smyrna, TN) The man accused of shooting and killing Errol Lyons outside a Smyrna bar will stand before the courts next month.

On June 22, 2018, Smyrna police were dispatched to a shooting at Sullivan's Sports Bar. On the scene, Mr. Lyons was found shot and was unconscious in the parking lot of 701 Presidents Place.

Marcus Jerome Brown is scheduled for trial on June 6th in the Rutherford County Circuit Courts. The 37-year-old is facing one count of first degree murder,  two counts of aggravated assault, employing a weapon during the commission of a felony, tampering with evidence and resisting arrest.
