There’s another police case that local authorities’ believe the public’s help in identifying subjects caught on camera, could lead to an arrest. MPD Detectives say that three persons of interest in a fraudulent use of a credit card case were believed to have used a stolen credit card that was taken from a car parked at Barfield Park. The break-in occurred this past Sunday (May 29, 2022).
Police told WGNS NEWS that unknown subjects broke out the window of a car that was parked at Barfield Park on Veterans Parkway. The owner of the car evidently left their purse in the vehicle, which was the target of the break-in. The purse that was stolen from the car contained ID's and bank cards. Shortly after the car burglary, unknown culprits reportedly went to the South Church Street Kroger Store and allegedly used at least one of the stolen cards to buy baby formula and a Visa gift card.
Police released the above video (above this story) in hopes of someone identifying the three individuals. The video was captured at the South Church Street / Innsbrooke Kroger Store. MPD Detective Jonathon Sherwood would like to speak to the three individuals about the case. If you know who these men are, call Sherwood at 629-201-5582.
