(MURFREESBORO)  Have you noticed how everything is in short supply these days. Like everything else, the running positions for Murfreesboro's Half Marathon (The Middle Half) is limited to 1,500 runners this year. A word to the wise, sign-up quickly while space is still available.

This year's Murfreesboro Half Marathon "The Middle Half" is on Saturday morning, October 8, 2022, and the starting pistol fires at 7:00AM.

It starts on East Main Street, in front of Central Magnet School, and goes on East Main to the historic Murfreesboro square. The flat, fast and fun course takes you through this city's beautiful historc homes, around MTSU and more. Run down tree-lined Main Street to Maney Avenue and the historic Oaklands Historic House Museum. Circle the courthouse, run through the beautiful campus of Middle Tennessee State University, then finish and celebrate at the party on the square.

It's also important to know that the Murfreesboro Half Marathon course is certified as accurate in measurement according to the standards adopted by the USATF Road Running Technical Council.
