Home School Dual Enrollment "Open House" at Motlow Campus in Smyrna

Jul 14, 2022 at 02:06 pm by WGNS

Motlow College will host two open house events for home school students on July 21st and 22nd (Thursday and Friday). The event will focus on dual enrollment opportunities for home school dual enrollment students and first-time freshman

"Dual" enrollment means you get credit for both a high school and a college class. You get these credits at the same time. In other words, one class is counted twice. Once for college, and once for high school.

Some students will be eligible for earning an associate degree before graduating from high school. If that is a goal your homeschooler would like to reach, you will have to talk to a dual enrollment coordinator.

The Motlow 'Take Flight' Home School Open House Events for home school dual enrollment students and first-time freshmen will be at their Smyrna campus at. 5002 Motlow College Blvd (Smyrna, TN 37167) in the Hiatt-Spivey Center Lobby. The Thursday, July 21st open house will be from 9 AM to 11 AM. The Friday, July 22nd event will be from 3 PM to 5 PM. Click here for more details and to register.
