MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee State University Board of Trustees will hold a rulemaking hearing and its quarterly meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
At the rulemaking hearing, the board will consider Rule 0240-07-03 Traffic, Parking, and Safety Enforcement – Amendment. A copy of the rule is included in the meeting materials, which may be accessed at https://mtsu.edu/boardoftrustees/meetings/269/2022-09-13.
Interested persons will have the opportunity to provide comments and present facts, views, or arguments as concerns this rule. Those wishing to participate should be present in the second-floor atrium at 1 p.m. Each person will have up to five minutes to present their remarks. Written comments should be received by 4:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, to ensure consideration and may be submitted by mail or email to:

The Board of Trustees meeting agenda includes reports from board committees; approval of items including minutes; approval of expedited tenure; annual report for Audit and Consulting Services and Risk Assessment reporting; policy revisions and rule promulgation; capital outlay project request; and information including reports from the president and board secretary.
The meetings are open to the public and begin at 1 p.m. in the Miller Education Center, Second Floor Meeting Room, 503 E. Bell St.
