Roadwork on the bridge between South Church Street and Broad Street has been causing delays in the flow of traffic for Murfreesboro residents. Rutherford Blvd between Broad and Church is being resurfaced, which is a project under the city’s annual paving program that includes milling and striping work.
You can expect to see crews on site daily along with lane shifts and closures throughout the day.
Also in South Murfreesboro, the state continues to work on Highway 231 South, which is South Church Street in the city limits. There, TDOT is overseeing the resurfacing of the highway between Volunteer Road and Highway 269 in Christiana.
On the opposite end of Rutherford County, TDOT is continuing the resurface work of State Route 452 from I-840 to State Route 10.
