Murfreesboro Police are working on a case that focuses on alleged thefts from Walgreens stores, possibly on Medical Center Parkway and Old Fort Parkway. Detectives now need help identifying a person of interest in the theft case.

According to the MPD, “On February 5, the unknown man used a key to unlock a display cabinet and loaded 25 bottles of Prevagen, worth $1,684, into shopping bags and walked out of the store without paying.” Prevagen is a supplement that is used to help with mild memory loss. The pill is thought to help with brain function in adults as they age. Police report the subject is also accused of taking other items.

After the unknown man reportedly stole from the store, he is believed to have left the business in a red car. However, few details are available on the make and model of that vehicle. But, authorities did release a picture of the car that was captured on a surveillance video camera. MPD Public Information Officer Larry Flowers asked, “If you can help identify this individual, please contact Det. Aaron Gonzalez at 629-201-5638.”
